Sleeping Room
Information:
The conference will take
place at the Marriott Memphis Downtown. A special group rate of $105 plus tax has been
negotiated for guest rooms at this hotel, before, during and after the
event. Space is limited so please contact the hotel directly on or
before October 6, 2010
and place your reservation. Make sure you let them know that you will
be attending the Economics
Teaching Conference in order to receive this special rate.
If you are flying to the conference, please fly into Memphis
(MEM) Airport.
Directions from airport:
I-240 North to I-40 West. Exit 1A at 2nd Street. Hotel is on the
right.
The Marriott Memphis Downtown does not provide
shuttle service to or from the airport. Airport
Shuttle Service is $15 each way and reservations are required
with the private shuttle company. Estimated taxi fare from the airport
to the Memphis Marriott Downtown is $25 each way.

this website.

Valet parking is $16 per night
and self parking is $14 per night.
